Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics for Procurement and Commercial Practice

Our integrity and reputation depend on our ability to do the right thing, consistently and without compromise.

Code of Conduct

The G&P Code of Conduct defines the standards expected of everyone representing or working with the firm — including employees, contractors, suppliers, and partners. It sets out how G&P conducts business: ethically, responsibly, and in alignment with legal and professional obligations in Australia and New Zealand.

Code of Ethics for Professionals

The Code of Ethics defines the principles that guide Galloway & Pierce’s decisions and behaviour. It reflects the firm’s commitment to acting with integrity, maintaining trust with clients and partners, and advancing ethical procurement and supplier engagement across industries in Australia and New Zealand.

Where the Code of Conduct outlines rules of behaviour, the Code of Ethics establishes the values and moral foundations that shape judgment and decision-making.

Standard of Conduct & Ethics

  • Act honestly, fairly, and transparently in all dealings. Represent information accurately and avoid misrepresentation or selective disclosure. Maintain professionalism in every client and supplier interaction.
  • Take responsibility for individual and collective decisions, actions, and outcomes. Acknowledge the commercial, operational, and social implications of each engagement and address issues promptly when they arise.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and contractual obligations, including those relating to procurement, privacy, anti-bribery, workplace safety, and competition. Adhere to client and industry-specific compliance requirements at all times.
  • Protect client and supplier information with strict confidentiality. Use data only for authorised purposes and manage it in accordance with privacy and security obligations.
  • Base professional judgments on facts and evidence. Avoid conflicts of interest, personal bias, or external influence. Declare any situation that could compromise impartiality.
  • Treat all individuals with dignity and equality. G&P prohibits discrimination, harassment, or coercion. Diversity and inclusion are integral to effective supplier ecosystems and workplace culture.
  • Operate responsibly and contribute positively to industry and community outcomes. Incorporate ESG, local content, and sustainability objectives into project delivery wherever feasible.
  • Maintain the skills, knowledge, and diligence necessary to deliver high-quality outcomes. Commit to continuous learning and uphold professional standards across all disciplines.
